Using Custom Templates
How to add custom templates into your copy of OpenOffice.org
- Download a template and store it on your computer.
- Click on File -> New -> Templates and Documents to open the “Templates and Documents” panel
- Click on “Organise...” to access the “Template Management” panel.
- Right click on “My Templates” and select “Import Template...”
- Navigate to where you have saved the template and press “Open”.
- The new template will now be visible within “My Templates”
- Press “Close” to close the “Template Management” panel.
- Press “Cancel” to close the “Templates and Documents” panel.
When you want to create a presentation based on this template:
- Click on File -> New -> Templates and Documents to open the “Templates and Documents” panel
- Click on the Templates icon on the Templates and Documents panel
- Find the new template within “My Templates” and press “Open”
