Is there a way to receive a flashing alert for new messages?

To configure Zimbra to alert you when a new email is received-


  • Open Zimbra and click the Preferences tab.

  • Click on the Mail tab.

  • Scroll down to the Receiving Messages panel, and click the box to the left of the type of alert you would like to receive.

  • Click Save and return to Mail.
