How do I create a shortcut to Zimbra on my desktop?
User wants to create a desktop shortcut to Zimbra.
If you're using Internet Explorer on Windows, go the Zimbra login page (the page the appears before you login to your email). Right-click anywhere on the page and select "Create Shortcut". You will be asked if you want to place a shortcut on your desktop, click "Yes".
If you are using Firefox on Windows or Ubuntu Linux:
- Resize the Firefox window so you can see both your computer's desktop and the Firefox window on the same screen.
- Click and hold the icon in the Site Identity Button.
- While still holding the mouse button down, move the pointer to the desktop, then release the mouse button. The shortcut will be created.
You can also drag and drop items to the desktop from the Bookmarks menu and the Bookmarks and History sidebar to create shortcuts.
