How can I read and send Zimbra mail in my GMail Account

Jump to: navigation, search
  • Sign in to your GMail account.
  • Click on Settings

  • Click on Accounts and Import

  • Click on Add POP3 Email Account

  • Type in your Zimbra email address
  • Click on Next Step

  • Username: Your Zimbra email address
  • Password: Your Zimbra password
  • POP Server: mail.npserv.org
  • Port: 995
  • Check Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server.
  • Check Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail.
  • Check Label incoming messages (Skip the Inbox)
  • Click Save Changes

  • Check Yes, I want to be able to send mail as Zimbra email address
  • Click Next Step

  • Type in your full name
  • Click Next Step

  • Choose Send through Your Zimbra email domain SMTP servers
  • SMTP Server: smtp.npserv.org
  • Port: 465
  • Username: Your Zimbra Email Address
  • Password: Your Zimbra Password
  • Check Always use a secure connection (SSL) when sending mail
  • Click Add Account

  • An email from Google will be sent to your Zimbra account. It contains a verification code. Type that verification code in the box and click Verify

  • You will now see your Zimbra account listed under the Accounts and Import screen.
  • You will now receive messages sent to your Zimbra email address in your GMail inbox.
