Creating a PDF of Slide Handouts

These instructions are for creating a PDF from a slide show in "handout" format (3 slides per page with notes on the right) for workshops, etc.

From the menu, select File->Print
In the print settings box under "Printer," change the name of the Printer to PDF_Printer
Find the "Print Content" section in the middle of the box and change Content to "Handouts"
Select number of slides and orientation of handouts
Click OK
To retrieve the file, go to your Home Folder under "Places." The PDF_Printer saves documents is a folder called PDF in this Home Folder.
