Changing your default printer in Linux

Jump to: navigation, search
  • Click on the Main Menu icon, located in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen
  • Go to the System menu
  • Go to the Administration menu
  • Click on Printing

  • Under the printer list on the left, select the name of the printer you wish to make your default.
  • Click the Make Default button on the right

  • Next to the Default Printer label, it should now say This is the default printer

  • Close the printer window
