Change Application Window Appearance (location of minimize/maximize/close buttons)

To change the appearance of application windows, including the color of the window and shape and location of the minimize/maximize/close window buttons:

  • Click on the Ubunutu start button
  • Click on "System" in the start menu
  • Click on "Preferences"
  • Click on "Appearance"

In the Appearance window

  • Click on the "Themes" tab
  • Click on any of the themes you may be interested in using and you will be able to preview the option.
